Updated: WAS IT A DRUG RAID? Answer: Nope, it's murder.
Updated: Jun 19
Update (06/18/2021): So it wasn't a drug raid that had 3 blocks off of Carey Street in Southwest Baltimore blocked off. The body of Kozee Spriggs (18) was found decomposing on the 1300 block of Ensor Street in the morning on June 15th. So all that activity was to arrest Kevin Dudley (38) in his residence, he has been charged with 1st and 2nd-degree murder.
There was a house raided in the 1300 block of Glyndon Avenue in Southwest Baltimore this evening, so far what we know is at least 2 people have been taken into custody. Shortly before the insurgence of the police, the area was cordoned off and not allowing any access not even to area residents. One of the perps was apprehended in the 1300 block of James
Street just one block away while trying to flee the scene. He was brought down by female plain clothes officers. This appears to be a major bust and we are just wondering how long this operation was underway.
The police presence was very aggressive as the SWAT team and several suited personnel was on the scene. Currently, there has been a lot of personnel going in/out of the home. They also towed a vehicle from the scene presumably as evidence in the case.
The local traffic has now been reopened.
